Hi, I’m Meghana (Mayg-na) — designer, illustrator, and founder of Meggu Makes.
Over the last 8+ years, I’ve crafted brands and campaigns for global companies like Liquid I.V., Dell, Kraft Heinz, Wendy’s, Adidas, and Amgen Health, while building my own independent practice rooted in strategy and storytelling.
Across every touchpoint—branding, digital, experiential, and PR—I’ve always been most drawn to the why: the human story behind the work.
That’s what led me here.
I work with wellness founders, culturally-rooted businesses, and community-led organizations to create brands that feel intentional, emotionally resonant, and true to the people they’re built for.

Lead with Empathy
Every project begins with listening. Before thinking about visuals, I take the time to understand the people, their challenges, motivations, and the change they’re hoping to create. The strongest brands aren’t built for audiences—they’re built with a genuine understanding of them. Empathy creates relevance, and relevance creates lasting impact.
the 'why' builds our path forward
Strategy is the foundation of every creative decision. The best ideas rarely appear first—they’re uncovered through research, curiosity, and iteration. Every design decision should be rooted in purpose, not preference. When the “why” is clear, the creative becomes more meaningful, resilient, and effective.
THINK IN SYSTEMS
Design for the whole ecosystem, not just the individual deliverable. A brand is never experienced through one touchpoint alone. Strong systems create consistency without sacrificing creativity, allowing brands to grow while staying unmistakably themselves. It is never just a logo, it is an entire system that works together to create a brand world that feels alive.
DETAILS ARE INTENTIONAL
Thoughtful design lives in the details. Typography, hierarchy, spacing, pacing, motion, colour, language—every element contributes to how people experience a brand. I believe craft is an act of care.
MAKE THEM FEEL SOMETHING
Design has the power to shape how people think, feel, and connect with the world around them. Beyond aesthetics or recognition, I strive to create experiences that build trust, spark curiosity, and foster genuine connection.
